Spot Answer Timing That Does Not Look Like Live Work.

Real typing has rhythm. Injected input and copied answers often do not. InterviewWatch analyses timing metadata, never keystroke content, to flag unusually uniform rhythm, machine-injected input, and long reading pauses followed by fluent answer bursts.

The tell is in the variance, not the words.

Human keystrokes vary in gap, thinking, reaching, correcting. Injected or replayed input is often machine-even. The detector watches the coefficient of variation of inter-key intervals, so it needs no idea what was typed.

Does InterviewWatch log keystrokes?
No. It analyses timing metadata such as the variance of inter-key intervals. It never records which keys were pressed or what was typed.
How does it tell human typing from injected input?
Human typing has natural variation between keystrokes. Programmatic or remote-injected input tends to be unusually uniform, a low coefficient of variation across inter-key intervals, which the detector can flag.
What is the pause-then-burst pattern?
A long reading pause followed by a fluent, low-variance typing burst is the fingerprint of reading an answer off a second device or transcribing from an assistant, so it is scored as answer-latency context.
Is fast typing treated as cheating?
No. A fast typist is not a fraud signal by itself. Timing signals only matter when they combine with other evidence such as AI activity, a focus change, or a clipboard burst.
