Live monitoring

What the session view shows while a monitored interview is running, and how to react to it without derailing the interview you are conducting.

Opening the live view

When the candidate's agent connects, the interview row switches to Live and its main button becomes View live. The owner of the round and any admin can open it. You do not have to: everything is captured into the report whether anyone is watching or not.

The status strip

The strip across the top is the one thing to glance at. It carries a single sentence in plain language:

The wording is written for humans, present tense while the incident is open and past tense once it ends. You will never see a raw tag like AI_TOOL here.

Flagged count and active signals

The left panel shows how many signals have been flagged so far this session, and lists the ones that are currently open: an AI assistant running, a screen-share-excluded overlay, a remote-control tool, a virtual camera, a second display appearing, and so on.

No live score. The integrity score is calculated when the session ends, not while it runs. A count of three signals early on is not a verdict, because scoring weighs what was seen, how long, how much the evidence corroborates itself, and how complete the monitoring coverage was.

The event feed

The right panel is the running log: each observation as it arrives, timestamped. It is the same evidence that ends up in the detailed report, so it is useful when you want to know precisely when something started rather than that it happened.

The panel divider can be dragged if you want more room for one side.

How to react during the interview

A signal is an observation, not a verdict. The agent can see that an AI assistant was running; it cannot see what the candidate did with it. Some practical guidance:

Session end and reconnects

When the candidate closes the agent, the session ends and the interview is finalised: the score is computed and the signed report becomes available. A banner replaces the live view to say so.

If the session ended by mistake, an admin can click Reconnect on the interview row. That allows the candidate to relaunch the agent and rejoin once. The rejoin is recorded as session 2, and each session keeps its own downloadable report alongside the combined one.

Reconnect is one use per interview. Once it has been used, the button reads "Reconnect used". If a candidate drops repeatedly, schedule a fresh round rather than trying to stitch one back together.
