1. Create your account
Sign up at app.interviewwatch.com with your work email. The first person to sign up for a company becomes its admin: they can invite the rest of the team, connect an ATS, and change company-wide settings.
Check your inbox for the verification link. Until you verify, a banner sits at the top of the dashboard and some actions stay locked. If the mail has not arrived, click Resend in that banner.
2. Add a job
Open Jobs and add one. A job is a name plus a role, for example Payments Platform and Senior Backend Engineer. Every interview and every pipeline card hangs off a job, so this comes first.
Jobs can be closed later. A closed job keeps its history but stops accepting new applicants and new rounds.
3. Add a candidate
Open Candidates and add a name and email. Candidates are company-wide: one record can sit in several jobs' pipelines, and their interview history follows them.
If you are running the built-in ATS, you can skip this page entirely and add people straight onto the pipeline board, or let your career page post them in through the apply API.
4. Schedule a monitored interview
- Open Interviews and fill in the schedule panel.
Pick the candidate, pick the job, set a date and time and duration, and paste the Zoom, Teams, or Meet link.
- Choose an owner.
The owner is the interviewer who runs the round and writes the scorecard. Tick Notify interviewer via email to send them the details.
- Tick "Monitor this interview".
This is what turns on monitoring. The candidate runs the InterviewWatch agent and you get a signed integrity report when the session ends. Leave it off and the round is a plain calendar entry.
- Click Schedule interview.
The round appears in the list with a join link for the candidate.
Full detail, including scheduling from a pipeline card, is in schedule an interview.
5. Send the candidate their link
Copy the join link from the interview row and send it to the candidate ahead of the interview, along with the meeting link. The join page walks them through downloading the agent and pasting their interview code. There is no account to create and nothing to install.
6. Watch the session
Once the candidate connects, the interview row goes Live. Open it to see the session view: a running count of flagged signals, the active signal list, and a live event feed. A one-line status strip tells you in plain language whether anything needs attention right now.
You do not have to watch. Everything is recorded into the report either way. See live monitoring.
7. Read the report
When the session ends the interview moves to Completed and the integrity score is calculated. Open the row to get the report: a score out of 100, a risk band, the findings in plain language, and the evidence behind each one.
You can download the signed summary or detailed JSON, and anyone can re-upload a downloaded file through Verify report to confirm it was not altered. See integrity reports.
What to set up next
- Invite your interviewers so rounds can be assigned to the people who actually run them.
- Work the pipeline board if you want InterviewWatch to track candidates through stages, not just interviews.
- Connect your ATS if you already run Greenhouse, so rounds sync in and reports get pushed back.
